ILEAP
The Service
ILEAP offers disabled young people, aged 5 – 18 years and living in South Warwickshire, 1:1 support to participate in leisure activities of their choice, from those taking place in their communities.
Our Main Priorities
- To undertake a thorough registration process to ensure that individual needs and aspirations are identified and catered for.
- To signpost our members to relevant leisure and education opportunities taking place within their community.
- To contact leisure and education providers to discuss the benefits of the project and to ensure that our members have an enjoyable and worthwhile experience at their chosen activities.
- To link the young people with one of the projects trained and committed Youth Workers. The role of the Youth Worker is to provide assistance to the young person, and support to the leisure provider, so that they can be inclusive.
