Cookery Classics: Online with Vanessa: Frangipane Apple Pudding: All Ages

Join Vanessa for our Saturday morning Cookery Session.
You will need to have the ingredients ready beforehand and then join Vanessa online, for a step by step cookery class.
Adult supervision may be required depending upon your cookery skill level.
Ingredients:
- ½ brioche loaf, cut into 5mm/¼in slices
- 175g/6oz butter, softened, plus extra for greasing

- 175g/6oz caster sugar
- 175g/6oz ground almonds
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 3 free-range eggs, beaten
- 25g/1oz plain flour
- 2 red dessert apples, cored and sliced, skin on
- 2 tbsp apricot jam
- 1 tbsp flaked almonds, toasted
- icing sugar, for dusting

For the cookey class you will need the relevant equipment to use. Here is a standard list we have done to help you to prepare.
- Mixing Bowl
- Wooden Spoon or Spatula
- Measuring Scales
- Rolling Pin
- Round Cookie Cooker or pint glass
- Baking Tray lines with parchment paper
- Measuring Jug
- Teaspoon
- Tablespoon
