Hi Folks,

Nearly there with the 1st Butlins trip. The date we have provisionally booked is the 19th - 23rd June 2023, with Staff Members Amanda and Janet. We have had to make the group smaller so 4 members and 2 staff on each trip. This has put the cost up to £999 per person. Those who have said they would like to go are Adam, Rob, Penelope and Kate C

We'd be staying in  2 x Fairground Apartments; they have 2 bedrooms, so the staff member in 1 double, 2 members in a twin. We'll book 2 apartments next door to one another.: https://www.butlins.com/resorts/skegness/accommodation/fairground-apartments

We would leave on a Monday at approx 1pm and be back on a Friday at 2pm, 
 
There will be 2 staff and 4 ILEAP members in 2 fairground apartments

Venue Information - Butlin's Skegness

Skegness is where the Butlin’s story began. Founded in 1936 by Billy Butlin, it was the UK’s first-ever holiday camp and is just as popular now as it’s always been. We’re super proud of our rich heritage, so you’ll find lots of original elements combined with 21st-century facilities. Our Traditional Fairground (complete with vintage stall games) pays homage to our seaside roots, while our brand-new entertainment venues keep things fresh and vibrant. 

When the sun’s shining, make the most of our adrenalin-fuelled outdoor activities. Take your pick from the high ropes, climbing wall, go-karts and freefall. And when the weather’s not playing ball? There are loads of things to do inside including laser tag, bowling, arts and crafts and, of course, our huge Splash Waterworld. Renovated in 2018, the pool features nearly 3000 square metres of fun, with high-speed flumes, racing rapids, a pool for tots and a winding vortex slide that sends you spinning into a giant bowl. 

After all that excitement, you’ll need somewhere comfy to rest and recharge. Our New England-style apartments are a home away from home, while our colourful Seaside apartments have a nostalgic feel.
